THE CHICKEN OR THE EGGTHE CHICKEN AND EGG DILEMMATHE CHICKEN OR THE EGG
Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
I am delighted to report that after extensive navel contemplation, this quintessential human conundrum can be laid to rest. The answer (or answers), is revealed here.
The problem was apparently solved by a British team which included one genetic specialist, a philosopher, and a poultry farmer. Scientists and philosophers at least now finally agreed on an answer to the age-old question, Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Here is what the team had to say:
Put simply, the reason is down to the

WAS EINSTEIN MISGUIDEDTHE SPEED OF LIGHT: WAS EINSTEIN MISGUIDED?WAS EINSTEIN MISGUIDED
Is it true that Albert Einstein (1879-1955) was one of the great geniuses of our time, or was he just misguided?
Between his twenty-first and thirty-eighth birthdays he completed a so-called revolution in science, with and I quote, profound repercussions at many levels. The two supposed great breakthroughs were his Special Theory of Relativity (1905) and the General Theory of Relativity (1915). Special Relativity deals with high speeds (light), and General Relativity with gravity.
Einsteins theories were ultimately derived from thought

READ ALL ABOUT ITREAD ALL ABOUT IT FROM BIT: DO WE NEED INFORMATION?READ ALL ABOUT IT
What exactly is information? And why should information not be confused with matter-energy?
When I see the leaves falling around me, I know winter is approaching. My brain (matter-energy) uses collateral energy in the process of thinking, but the matter-energy is not part of the information in my mind. Information is the stuff of mind; matter-energy (including the brain) is physical. Information is never physical, but it can be, and usually is, represented in some physical form.
The philosophy of information is defined as the area of

THE NATURE OF ENERGYTHE NATURE OF ENERGY: THE UNIVERSE IS A HUGE STEAM ENGINE, OR SO IT IS CLAIMEDTHE NATURE OF ENERGY
Can we realistically compare the Universe to a steam engine?
It all began with steam engines, developed and made practical in the 18th century, which were quite inefficient. Very little of the fuel (coal) consumed in heating water and making steam was converted into useful work (i.e. useful motion).
Engineers grew interested in studying the way in which heat flowed from one point to another in a closed-system and the manner in which it was converted into work. They hoped to learn to make the steam engine more efficient
